2006 Prince Hill Pinot Noir

"Indulgent aromas of ripe boysenberry and black cherry are an irresistible invitation to sink into this plush Pinot. A mouthful of mocha, praline and graham take you on a hedonistic journey that ebbs and flows without losing momentum. A beautiful mouthfeel and a gloriously long finish crown this ‘princely’ vintage."

Prince Hill Vineyard, 1.5 miles west of Dundee on the right side of Worden Hill Road, has deep, iron rich jory soil and a due-south exposure, ideal for growing Pinot grapes. This 34 acre site is known for consistently producing wines with a deep, saturated color and complex flavors with nice richness.

Bottle Size: 750 ml

Cooking Suggestions: A superb match with rosemary glazed duck, foie gras, suckling pork chop, or Boeuf Bourginon.
