The 2009 Pinot Noir Prince Hill exhibits aromas of cedar, underbrush, spice box, cherry, and boysenberry. In the glass it opens to reveal a velvety texture, succulent flavors, and a sense of elegance. Nicely balanced, concentrated, and lengthy, it will provide pleasure from 2012 to 2019.

“Excellent ”  Wine Press Northwest

Winery founder Dick Erath began planting this vineyard in 1983, and it’s a glittering gem in his portfolio. The nose is loaded with raspberry, dark plums, cherry and strawberry/rhubarb compote, backed by cedar and sarsaparilla. Easy-drinking flavors of strawberry/rhubarb pie fill the mouth, joined by hints of red and black licorice, then finished by lingering chocolate-covered cherry flavors.

Bright ruby-red. Red and dark berry preserves and gingerbread on the nose, with cola and vanilla nuances gaining strength with aeration. Sweet and juicy, offering expansive raspberry and mulberry flavors and a hint of vanilla. Silky tannins add shape to the smoky, attractively sweet, dark berry-dominated finish. This has the depth to age.
