Erath 2006 Juliard Pinot Noir Dundee Hills
88 points Wine Enthusiast
Erath’s Juliard bottling has a bit more stiffness and muscle than the wide-open Hyland, but tails off too quickly to be considered as a cellar candidate. The soft strawberry fruit flavors are wrapped in pleasing chocolate, and lightly spicy, toasty details pop up throughout. It just lacks grips and length.

Erath 2006 Juliard Pinot Noir Dundee Hills
90 points International Wine Cellar
Deep red with a bright rim. Powerful aromas of cherry-vanilla, black raspberry, cola and candied rose, with a brisk mineral quality adding interest. Fleshy and smooth, offering sweet red and dark berry flavors and a late note of cherry skin. The dark berry and cola notes repeat on the finish, which is broad, gently sweet and very long. This is complex enough to drink right now.

Erath 2005 Juliard Pinot Noir Dundee Hills

This seems very dry, thin, leafy and tannic, upon entry. It tastes like green tea, with cranberry and wild cherry fruit. It’s not a simple wine by any means, and it will probably flesh out with some bottle age, for the complexity is there in the aromas and in the length. The 12.5% alcohol is quite unusual by New World standards.

Erath 2003 Juliard Vineyard Pinot Noir Dundee Hills
“Recommended” Northwest Palate
Toasty scents of graham and coconut blend with plum in the nose, followed by opulent flavors of black cherry, sweet barrel toast, and a hint of strawberry. Serve with spaghetti dressed with olive oil, garlic, anchovies, and bread crumbs.
