Erath 2005 Pinot Gris Oregon

86 points - “Best Buy”  Wine Enthusiast

This is an accessible, middle-of-the-road style, clean and lightly fruity, with pleasant citrus rind, melon and white peach fruit. Erath, one of the founding wineries of the Willamette valley, was recently acquired by Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, and the Pinot Gris, along with the winery’s substantial production of Pinot Noir, can be expected to bolster the two most obvious holes in the company’s portfolio. There’s a nice streak of minerality that creeps into the finish, which adds a bit of substance to what is a rather light effort.

Erath 2004 Pinot Gris Oregon

88 points  Wine Enthusiast

Reliable and fruit-driven, Erath's Pinot Gris is a solid, fruity, tangy wine that shows nice citrus and tangerine flavors. Crisp and lively, great food wine, especially for spicy Asian dishes.
